How to use ChatGPT on the MacOS 15.1 beta
ChatGPT is fixed, finally. Next: Apple Intelligence.
ChatGPT can be used for many things but it is finally fixed on macOS Sequoia 15.1.
When ChatGPT first launched as an app for Mac, there was one pretty significant problem: shortcuts were broken. The shortcut command for ChatGPT can be accessed by pressing OPT + spacebar. When first issued, pressing that command would open the physical ChatGPT app.
Now, ChatGPT has seemed to have fixed this issue as it works more like Spotlight.
As you probably know, searching your Mac via Spotlight is easy. Press CMD + spacebar and you’ll be shown this screen.
ChatGPT now works in similar fashion, as pressing the keyboard shortcut (OPT + spacebar) will bring up a similar minimalistic prompt, this time at the very bottom of the screen.
This helps because it allows you to work alongside your prompt instead of navigating between both apps. It…
