I tried Stitch Fix and (almost) returned everything
The truth about Stitch Fix.
Let’s be honest. I’m a 27-year-old man who doesn’t have a large wardrobe. For the most part, it consists of random t-shirts for lounging, a few nice shirts for wearing out, and two pairs of pants and jeans. Maybe I’ll wear a nice dress shirt every other weekend.
It’s not big.
Stitch Fix, in thought, is quite the idea. Basically, its mission is simple: provide quality clothing on a subscription basis.
If you don’t have time to shop, it’s a great option. If you don’t know where to shop, it’s a great option. If you’re trying to mix it up, it’s a great option. I tried Stitch Fix to broaden my fashion horizons.
In my first box, Stitch Fix almost nailed my style. I received a flannel, a nice polyester “going out” sweater, a nice t-shirt, jeans, and shoes. Here’s what I thought of each.
Let’s review each item.
Jeans
The jeans were OK. They were my size and everything but I’m pretty certain that Stitch Fix doesn’t offer affordable jeans. I normally shop at Levi’s for jeans because they are long-lasting, affordable (around $40 or $50 each), and they have a variety of styles.
