WWDC 2022: Top announcements from this year’s event
Here’s what I’m excited for.
It’s official. iOS 16 is coming.
Apple’s annual Worldwide Developer Conference took place this week. Unusually enough, I found the hardware announcements to be the most intriguing. Still, iOS 16 and macOS 16 provide enough excitement on their own.

iOS 16: Custom Lock Screens and iMessage
WWDC is mainly known for its software announcements at WWDC which is why it makes the most sense to start here.
In iOS 16 comes custom Lock Screens and the ability to edit an iMessage or “undo send.”
In prior iOS updates, Apple gave us the ability to customize our Home Screen with widgets, a new App Library, and more. Now, that has come to the Lock Screen.
